AW tier matchups

So we are in tier 4 Alliance War, and we were in tier 4 when matchmaking started.
Last war we were in tier 3 and we got slaughtered so we were happy to drop back.
No we start attack today and find that we have tier 3 AW nodes to go with our tier 4 multiplier.
Thank you Kabam, truly, for making us use more items for less points even if we do fluke a win.

    Means your opponents are t3, when you are that close to the edge of either side of the cutoff, you can matchup with someone slightly higher than you in a different tier, the nodes then are randomly selected from one of the alliances tiers, only slight relief is it means your opponents are probably only one loss away from tier 4 anyway

    Seems like a rip off that Kabam make us use items to complete tier 3 to only get tier 4 rewards.
    At least give us the appropriate rewards if we’re completing a tier 3 AW map

    Not true, 2 wars ago we were tier 6 and fought tier 5 nodes even though the alliance we fought has a slightly lower war rating than us (we lost that war). Then last war we are still tier 6 and had tier 5 nodes again even though both alliances are in tier 6. Something is off with determining which map an alliances fights in when they are on the border.
