AI Mordo in AQ mini boss really knows when not to attack and be aggressive.

    I dunno how your bypassing astral evade... But when he hides behind that sheild, heavy attack him to stop the powergain!

    Mordo has been like that since he was released. He always becomes extremely defensive when he gets bis power gain

    Yeah just heavy attack him when he’s near the corner, once he’s in power gain mode, he does not attack you, he goes fully defensive. Intercept as much as you can to stop the power gain anyway.

    Thanks for the advice! Will do next time. Just annoying for me coz in other quest, he isn't that too defensive. Proly, i was wrong. 😂

    😂 I learnt that from Dave. But can't perfect it.
    It's about timing.
    Also maybe because IMIWs first Medium attack is a projectile, it doesn't cause Astral Evade? I haven't tested it so I don't know this for certain.

    Best solution to counter Mordo is Ironman IW, Parry and attack and its doesn't bite you back

    Spidey Gwen is a solid counter as well I've learned this AQ. Hit him with an SP1 to enervate him, so no more power gain, hit him with a heavy attack to stop his evade. Love my 4/55 Spidey Gwen right now.

    I take in Iceman, Killmonger, Shulk or Spider-Gwen. Stark Spidey also works for the taunt.

    I play on android and rarely have lag spikes but I get dropped heavies on every single fight with the dexterity play style with quake. Didn't use to happen to me at all till the last update now my quake is unusable to me

    He isn't super intelligent. You are just playing him wrong.

    Besides, unduped 4-4/2-35 IMIW? Not a good choice.

    Learn to fight him without parry and then bring a champ who does some damage. And once he gets power gain, dash, hit his Block and heavy.

    Mordo maybe have the most predictable AI in the game. Keep ur eyes on his timer while fighting him. From 1-10 o’clock he is aggressive and spams his specials, from 10-12 o’clock and during his power gain he is defensive and spams on blocking. Use dexterity on the first phase and heavy to break his block and stop his power gain during second. Treat him as a stun free node and he is a joker.
