Time lag in IG avatar change?

I wanted to practise duel on certain champs but found that the champ with highest rating sits in second place. Is this just time lag on game to update?

    No, it's because it's based on champion rating before Masteries. Let's say one champ benefits more rating wise for a certain mastery. They might be your top above another, but if the champ that is lower was higher before masteries, it will be your top shown sometimes.
