Understanding featured crystal odds

Trying to understand how featured crystal odds makes sense. Last cycle of featured 5* crystal or the one before that, I opened two of them and got two Spider-Man classic.

Today I opened two featured 5* and got two rhinos. What are the odds of that happening? My roster isn’t even that big. I only have two of the champs in the current featured crystal. So Don’t tell me it’s random

This reminds of another game I used to play earlier, also run by a Korean company. Odds for the AI going two turns in a row was 11% but in fact it was over 70%.

Do all companies based there run such unethical practices ? Is it because they know they can get away with it?

It’s called RNG and ure unlucky

Go to a casino, play craps. See how often the number you want comes out.

However I’ll give u one thing, if Kabam wanted to, they could code more chance on **** champs over the good ones, and you will never know. I personally don’t believe they would do so because it’s unethical and if that came to light, everyone will stop playing.

It’ll never come into light. And so they know they can get away with it. And RNG is RANDOM.

RNG is semi-random. It's a random outcome based on the odds within the pool. However, random doesn't mean every outcome will be a different one, and it doesn't mean equal distribution. You have just as much chance of pulling one particular outcome each time you roll. It's a separate outcome each time, and it's not swayed by the others.

Kabam mentioned several times that all champs have equal percentage of being pulled , but player experiences say otherwise? Whom to trust?

Proof is in the pudding!! After all the bugs , mastery issues , hp potions and scandals, I have a really hard time believing anything kabam says

The odds of opening 2 featured crystals and getting the same champ in both is 1/24

Ok, look at it this way. They all have the same percentage of being dropped, that means everyone is a 1 in something chance. For featured it’s a 1/24 chance to pull literally anyone. So if you got one champ one time, the next time you open a crystal it’s got a 1/24 chance to land on the same thing. But, you also have a 1/24 chance to land on say iron patriot, you also have a 1/24 chance to land on say cull obsidian. The thing with these crystals is that if you land on one champ, you have the same amount of chance to land on the same one immediately thereafter. Landing on a champ doesn’t lessen the chances of landing on them again in any way, you just happen to be really unlucky.
