Aw nodes vs Aw tier not matching

I’ve seen several posts about this in general discussion but figured this was the appropriate venue to address the issue. Along with what seems to be many other alliances this season, the nodes we are facing do not reflect the tier we are in. The last 2 wars we have had to fight more difficult nodes, while still receiving the lesser rewards for the war, and more importantly missing out on the greater point multiplier towards our season score. Seems like a fairly major problem and would like to not what/if anything is being done about it.
