Spider-man evading Venom

I'm currently working on exploring Act 5 and there's a OG spider-man on the path, so I brought my 4* 5/50 Venom and was expecting an easy fight, until Spider-man started to evade like normal. Please look into this bug as it is drastically halting my progression.

    What node was this on in act 5? Did venom have his klyntar buff active? He can only prevent evade with it active.

    Not with Venom. Corvus can regain True Strike after either he gets knocked down and glaive charges come back or he runs out of charges and when they reset it comes back. Venom isn't very good against nodes that eat buffs or champs that eat buffs.

    In Variant there is a similar node.

    After a certain amount of time Venom will generate a new buff - the first being the buff.

    The node would also dictate if buffs can even activate.

    Well its happening to me on AW, on a node called “The best defense... 2”
    “The defender gains +40% evade and auto-block ability accuracy. Trigerring evade or auto-block grants the defender 20% of a bar of power”
    And venom is suposed to Ignore spider’s evasion, so im not sure if it should happen.

    You'd have to record the fight. Nothing on that node should prevent it.
    Well im always bringing my venom and trying to get there, but they are placing different champs, i was going to record the first fight, but i didnt want to pause and lose some time, since i got screwed over the evasion and was running low on hp :/

    @Caneka what node number are you referring to exactly? The 2nd node on path 3?

    After the Klyntar buff has been removed, it will recreate itself 9 seconds later. However, buffet will refresh 7 seconds later, meaning you need to get a buff in the 2 seconds between those in order to keep the Klyntar buff. I believe you would also need to generate buffs for buffet to eat before the Klyntar buff refreshes each time.

    Technically you can get it back, but it's not really worth the effort if you can avoid it. Ghost is a good option as well, and Killmonger is for all except Spider-gwen.

    @Caneka what node number are you referring to exactly? The 2nd node on path 3?
    So im on a lower bracket (map Hard) gold 2 - tier 5, so the nodes are (28-35-43), i just fought a starky on this path but his evasion didnt trigger (not even failed), ill keep trying to find another spider verse champ on the path then ill record again, since this record for starky didnt help :(
