Omega Red taking damage, again, from psych-thorns in AW

Long story short:

Last AW I brought my O.R. into AW, just as a means to counter the psych-thorns path. Needless to say that he worked flawlessly. I took no damage, some hits due my own handicapness(?), but nothing to be angry about.

Just now, took the same path in AW, even brought a 3* S.T. for synergy, and ended up killing myself using nothing medium attacks.

What is going on?

    Just verified again on July 1 - OR taking damage from psychic thorns with medium attacks. His description explicitly states that tentacle attacks do not trigger damage mechanisms - so this is another instance of a bug that negatively affects the player base that is slow to be responded to.
