Which should I rank up?

So I've got a 4-star awakened Captain America that's maxed out at Rank 4. I kick ass with him. I've been wanting to max him out but it's taken forever to build up the Tier 4 Science fragments (I'm at 20,310/36,000). Otherwise I have 6/5 tier 4 basic and 6/2 tier 1 alpha. I've been trying to build up Tier 4 Science through the store but it's crawling.

I also have a 5-star Medusa who's not awakened, but she's maxed out at Rank 2. And I have enough Tier 4 Cosmic to rank her to 3.

Should I keep waiting it out to rank up Cap, or should I upgrade Medusa right now?

    Also: I'm at the last segment of Chapter 6 of story mode. I've been stuck. This is who I'm rocking with; could make a switch for the fifth spot. But this, in part, is fueling my decision.
