    It does say per hit.
    One could argue hyperions special 3 does 2 hits the slam to the ground took off
    23% HP
    And his 2nd hit did 50% of you health

    sp3 is considered one hit typically.

    SP3 is one hit, this is not the reason.
    The protection buff is the green buff you see second from the right. The problem is: it activates for to ten seconds. Therefore, it expires before the mode does.
    In your case, watch closely, you get hit right after the protection buff expires! Better luck next time :)

    This pic should demonstrate the answer: that green protection buff is all but gone. You hit Hypo a couple times after that and then he used Sp3.

    Symbiote Supreme is bugged in some ways (see Bugs section)—but I don’t think this is one of them.
