AW not registering victory

I just fought an IMIW in AW and got the victory, but after tapping the screen after victory, it showed someone else fighting him. How in the he!! does this happen right at the start of the season? I fought him flawlessly and there wasn’t any lag or problems during the fight.

    Yes and IMIW was still there and had a sliver of health. The next member that fought him the fight froze.
