Parry reduced from 33% to 25%.....Why?

I read one of the answers from the moderators that said this was done back in 2017.
But still doesn’t make sense. Zero reason to drop parry damage taken from 33% to 25%!

Please just put it back to 33%.

We already have enough cards stacked against us now with all of War being Bleed immune.
Now you want to handicap us more so we can take even more damage.

It was done back then for multiple reasons, we were angry then. It doesnt change your gameplay now.

Hey there, as others have mentioned, we have some more info related to this question in our response here. This change occurred in March of 2017 after the introduction of diminishing returns in order to make sure that Parry continued to function the way it was intended and the way players expected. There's a little more info in that thread, but that is the shorter version for those who were wondering.
