Will I get banned for using a friend’s abandoned account?

My friend used to play this game years back. He told me I can use it ever since he abandoned it. He lives in the UK. I haven’t started yet, fearing that I’ll get banned permanently. Though, will I get banned for using an account that he, himself created, but doesn’t use anymore?

    Most likely yes. It’s falls under piloting for the account.

    Hey there, players are only allowed to play on accounts that they created themselves. Playing on an account that someone else created, or allowing others to play on an account you created, is not allowed under the game's Terms of Service and can result in action being taken against the account.
