Ability to reevaluate rank ups

I don’t disagree that from time to time Kabam needs to make changes to champs. My concern is that customers rank up champs based on how they are functioning at the time they rank them up. This means time, resources, and real world money. Any time a champ is changed customers should have the ability to change their mind about rank up just as Kabam has the ability to change their mind about how the champ should work.
It is not too much to as for Kabam to place champ specific rank down gems in the featured store each time they make a change to a specific champ.
How does this not make perfect sense? I don’t know if any other place that changes a product after you buy it and does not give the customer the ability to return the product to make things right.
