Apologies if this has already been answered but I couldn't find any answer to this so thought I'd open a discussion here.

Why does Corvus Glaive loses his charges when the opponent glances the attack. The description of glancing mention that the hit cannot be critical, while Corvus Glaive hits with his glaive are guaranteed critical. Furthermore whenever and attack is glanced this way, Corvus loses 1 of his glaive charges too. So it means it had to be a critical hit for him to lose his charge. So is this interaction supposed to be this way?? Am I missing some piece of information here?

The attack was going to be a critical hit, but glancing kicked it and stopped it.
This interaction was discussed in the past already, and is pretty much the concept of "Never beats Always".

A charge is spent every time Corvus hits with Basic Attack using his glaive.

That’s how his charges are spent.
But, Um is that grammatically correct?

Hey there, Corvus loses Glaive Charges because part of his abilities are that he spends a Glaive Charge every time he hits with a Basic Attack using his Glaive, so long as his Glaive's Immunity is active. This will occur regardless of if the hit was a Critical Hit or not. Normally his other abilities will make his Glaive Basic Attacks guaranteed Critical Hits, but the charge will be spent on that attack even if he is prevented from landing a crit in some way.
