Thank you all for your patience as we worked to address your concerns regarding our recent changes to Arena Milestones. After a lot of thought, exploration of multiple options, and discussions with some heavy arena grinders, we’ve come up with the following plan, which will go into effect at the same time as the Purgatory Featured Champion Arena going live on June 10.
There have been no changes to Rank Rewards, but we’ve retooled the Milestones, bringing the Basic and Featured more back-in-line with the arenas that ran before the release of Shang-Chi, and increased the number of Milestones in the Trials Arena to account for the decrease in the number of Arenas.
Note: All of the information below is in comparison to the pre-Shang-Chi Arenas.

Our goal when tuning these milestones was to try and approximate the effort required to obtain the combined milestones of all 3 lower arenas and tune them into this one singular arena.
The important word there is the “effort”, and not points. There is a vast difference between the effort required to clear 3 Arenas, and the points required to clear each individual Arena. Points are affected by the Base Points of Champions available to bring into the Arena, where the effort is based on how many fights/series you need to complete.
We’ve leveraged the milestone system to create more or less direct equivalencies in terms of effort (Fights per unit) to complete the milestones in those arenas (balanced around the highest allowed rarity in the arena, which is 4-Stars).
With the understanding that we’re expecting a certain level of roster development of 3 & 4 stars, We’ve slightly improved the rate at which these milestones can be earned, specifically for the 1 & 2-Star and 2 & 3-Star arenas.
We’ve also moved up some of the lower rarity base points to help accommodate for this discrepancy.
Star Rating Points Scoring:
Milestones 1-10 are tuned to be equivalent to the 3 / 4-star arena (pre-Shang-Chi). When compared to that arena, here are the changes:

Basic Arena
Star Rating Points Scoring:- 4 Star Champions will earn base points at the same rate as they did pre-Shang-Chi arenas (800)
- 5 Star Champions will earn base points at the same rate as they did in the pre-Shang-Chi arenas (4500)
- 6 Stars can be used to earn points but will earn the same number of base points as 5-Stars (4500)
- Milestones returned to previous values (Top Milestone - 4 Million)
- 17,400 Premium Hero Crystal Shards Removed and replaced with 6,000 Grandmaster Hero Crystal Shards
- 3 Greater Arena Boost Crystals Added
- 3 Star Basic Champion Earnable at 650,000 Milestone
- 4 Star Basic Champion Earnable at 2.5 Million Milestone
Featured Arena
Star Rating Points Scoring:No changes:
- 4 Star = 2000
- 5 Star = 6000
- 6 Star = 17000
- Milestones returned to previous values (Top Milestone - 12 Million)
- 2750 Grandmaster Hero Crystal Shards Added
- 3 Arena Boost Crystals Added
- 3 Star Featured Champion Earnable at 2 Million Milestone
- 4 Star Featured Champion Earnable at 7.5 Million Milestone
Trials Arenas

- Top Milestone Increased by 760,000 compared to points requirement of the 2 / 3 Arena
- 5 units added

- Top Milestone Increased by 1.25 Million compared to the points requirement of the 1 /2 Arena
