I understand that moderators have job to do and threads end up getting shut down do to personal attacks and things going off topic. However when this happens why is it the moderators never address/answer the original question while posting why they’ve shut thread down?

    Agreed, it's unfair in a way. They ignore the question, it's slick, so they don't have to expose themselves.
