We are back! We are excited to announce the changes coming to Season 29 and hope that this will be a great season for you all!

Without further ado, here is what’s new in Season 29...

Solo Event Update

Rewards:
  • New tier for Thronebreakers
  • Added Alliance War Health Potions and Team Revives
  • Increased Gold and Loyalty in all tiers
  • Added Alliance War Boosts to all tiers
  • Increased amounts of Crystal Shards in all tiers
  • Added Mythic Crystal Shards and Legendary Crystal Shards
  • No change to event functionality
  • Watch out for an in-game message with more details coming soon!

Tactic Updates

Fixes!
Due to bugs caused by splitting Attack and Defense Tactics into their own features, Tactics were removed entirely from Season 28. But the team has been hard at work tracking them down, and we are happy to announce that everything is back up and working as intended!

Untouchables Reworked (Repost from S28)
No, you are not seeing double! Since you did not really get to experience the Tactics Changes last season, we wanted to repost them here so you do not have to go looking for them.

Old Description:
Whenever the defender Triggers a Miss or Evade they gain a Resistance charge granting a 30% Damage Resistance Passive effect lasting indefinitely and stacking up to 3 times. Intercepting the opponent will remove 1 Resistance Charge. Additionally all evade abilities gain a flat 15% Ability Accuracy.

New Description:
Whenever the Defender Evades or causes an attack to Miss they gain 17.5%/25%/50% of a Bar of Power over 2.5 seconds. If the Defender's Evade or Miss abilities fail while they're suffering a Slow or Concussion they instead gain 35%/50%50% of a Bar of Power over 2.5 seconds.

    • Fixed Defense Tactics for Expert Map (Untouchables - 3 instead of the current High Ground - 3)
    • Re-enabled Fight Duration Tiebreaker on Tiers 9+ (Hard Map and up)
    • Fixed descriptions to display correctly in all languages
    • Fixed In-Fight Timer Lengths on Hard Map
    • Updated “High Ground”:
    Old (Season 28):
    Every 2 seconds the Defender gains one Altitude charge. When the Defender has 0+ Altitude Charge(s), they gain True Accuracy and will do a burst of 1 Energy Damage per Altitude Charge, when Blocked. Every 10 hits on the Attackers combo meter will remove 1 Altitude Charge. This Buff is unaffected by Ability Accuracy.

    New (Season 29): Rank 1/2/3
    Every 15/10/10 second(s) the Defender gains one Altitude charge reduced by 50/50/80% if Shocked, Incinerated, or Degenerated, and cannot be prevented with Ability Accuracy. Altitude Charge(s) grant True Accuracy, and when Blocked deal a burst of 500/1000/1000 Energy Damage per Charge. Every 10 hits on the Attackers combo meter will remove 1 Charge.
