Bug or Enhancement

Not sure if I am just late to the party, but in an arena fight I just witnessed the AI parrying a heavy attack.
I have seen many a parry when hitting into block after the most recent update, but this is the first time I saw a heavy trigger parry. I was using Karnak against Nightcrawler.
I imagine the summoner I was fighting in arena had the stand your ground mastery, but in six years playing the game I have never been able to trigger parry while blocking a heavy. I also use the stand your ground mastery typically 4/5.
Is this expected behavior or is this yet another bug that has developed with the new input refractor system?

I suppose if you did a well-timed block at the time you resist the first hit of the heavy, then it's technically possible. Whenever I get heavies it's generally from not releasing my block though.
Took about 7 minutes with my heavy-handed old pal, Mysterio.
So it's possible but window is very small and seems like recent changes definitely allowed it to be easier for the AI.
