Season 12 marks Battlegrounds’ one year anniversary, as well as Battlerealm Brawl! To help celebrate, you’ll find some new rewards and some juiced up, temporary rewards this season!

Evolving Titles!

Along with some rewards updates, we’ll also be adding titles for all ranks of Celestial. These are evolving titles that will upgrade every 5 times it’s gained, similar to titles obtained from Alliance war.

Celestial 1 - Battlegrounds Gladiator

Celestial 2-4 - Battlegrounds Warrior

Celestial 5-6 - Battlegrounds Combatant

Your escalating titles are as follows:
Battlegrounds Gladiator - Reached Celestial 1 in Battlegrounds.
Reigning Battlegrounds Gladiator - Reached Celestial 1 in Battlegrounds 5 Times.
Undefeated Battlegrounds Gladiator - Reached Celestial 1 in Battlegrounds 10 Times.
Battlegrounds Warrior - Reached Celestial 2-4 in Battlegrounds.
Hardened Battlegrounds Warrior - Placed Celestial 2-4 in Battlegrounds 5 Times.
Veteran Battlegrounds Warrior - Placed Celestial 2-4 in Battlegrounds 10 Times.
Battlegrounds Combatant - Reached Celestial 5-6 in Battlegrounds.
Proven Battlegrounds Combatant - Reached Celestial 5-6 in Battlegrounds 5 Times.
Adept Battlegrounds Combatant - Reached Celestial 5-6 in Battlegrounds 10 Times.

Guillotine (Deathless) Piece 2 of 5

A reminder to all Summoners that the second sword piece (the first will be in an in-game message), required to acquire Guillotine (Deathless), will be rewarded to all players who complete the Victory Track and engage in at least one fight in the Gladiator Circuit. More details still to come on the additional pieces and where to acquire them!

Battlerealm Brawl!

In Season 12 we’ve included the Day 1 meta from Battlerealm Brawl for everyone to try out in friendly matches.

Decay and Sugar Pill are Tactics you’ll be familiar with from Alliance War. If you want the effects of those buffs you’ve got to make sure you have a champion that has either the #AW Decay tag or the #AW Sugar Pill tag. Stevia Pill also uses the #AW Sugar Pill tag.

A note from our anti-cheat team.

Battlegrounds is a competitive mode where players should be trying to win. Deliberately losing for any sort of benefit is considered by the game team to be unfair play. This season we will begin monitoring Battlegrounds to detect players deliberately losing matches in order to farm event points against weaker players, as we did with win trading in past seasons. If we detect players engaging in this behaviour we will take action against those accounts, including bans if we deem it necessary. We are confident we can tell the difference between players legitimately stuck in a rank and those who are doing it deliberately, those not engaging in this behaviour should have no cause for concern.
