Definitely understand the folks upset by the issue with drops and we will make that right soon. Glad that despite the issues with the drops it seems like the content side was perhaps an improvement from some of our previous ones. Gonna keep an eye on this and keep collecting the feedback for future streams.

appreciate the response but right now it will be more appreciated if we get our time's worth and get the drop rewards so please try to get the drop rewards fixed asap.

It was great stream KABAM 💯 Don't worry about code frogs, I'm sure you guys will fix and deliver code rewards to everyone in mail soon 😘
Tbf the promocode issue its the communities fault...why did people need to come in the forums and make a post as soon as its released on the forum... Kinda like the revive farm spot back in the day. Share it in your alliance chat or something 🙄

yup its being worked on and will have news shortly
Definitely not the worst by a long way. As others have said the promo code idea isn’t the best and I’m giving the benefit of the doubt we get the appropriate twitch drops.
The content was some of the most interesting in a while, talked about things that matter to players (updates to DSE, eq, gave peak behind the curtain to sq, 9.2, etc.). These topics are more valuable than “here’s the art process behind shathra”
Additionally, even though it was super quick, gotta give Dave a nod for acknowledging communication has been really bad lately. He said mistakes have been made and will try to be better going forward. A step in the right direction.

I definitely don't understand people whining when they don't get a promo code or twitch drops

you were told tht if u watch a stream for 45 minutes u get these rewards, yes they arent game breaking but they are rewards. You watch the stream for 45 minutes and then u see tht u didnt get the rewards , which u obv deserved to get , so obv people are gonna make them look into it to get those rewards , as yes i can get the stream info later from other sources but when they promise tht u get these rewards for watching and u dont get those, obv ppl will whine.
Reveal of a bunch of new 7* champs that have been highly requested entering the game
I’ve always been open to criticizing Kabam especially when they don’t listen to the community but people here either have to mindlessly support or criticize Kabam for everything, no in between. This stream was fine and had a lot of interesting info. Calling it the worst ever just because drops didn’t go well is insane to me
January's was worse. Especially because it was pre-recorded. At least here they had some push back among the bots about things their player base was unhappy with.
Ignoring the issues with drops it was a good stream? Revealed a lot of good stuff and specifically acknowledged the issues with communication in a way that was pretty valid
Aside from the wild goose chase of a promo code and the missing drops, I thought this stream was a start towards a lot of good things. New story content, updates to EQ and SQ in the pipeline, incredible champs coming as 7 stars, I’m hyped for sure
Stream was a big W in my book, I'm always critical of Kabam but being mad at the stream cause of the drops and codes is just being a Karen at this point. Those drops and codes are useless when compared to all the good stuff we're getting soon, this person is just crying for the sake of crying.

The split in opinion does make sense to me. If you were looking for free stuff, that experience probably wasn't the best for you today due to some issues we had with Twitch Drops. Codes worked just fine as they were single redemptions and meant to add 2 more people to the 10 we normally give things away to.
However, in my opinion, I felt we revealed some pretty cool things and pulled the curtain back a bit on the future of the contest. So people that like to know what's happening with the Contest after our long silence, I would imagine enjoyed the info drop.

So the fact that the codes were "meant to add 2 more people to the 10 we normally give things away to" was not how the codes were marketed, at all. Promo codes, even hidden ones, have never been so restricted. To make them a key component of your livestream advertising while also not explaining (1) the reward itself or (2) its incredible restriction, you caused many people to just stare at various parts of the screen for absolutely nothing. If I had known it was such a limited reward, I would have spent my time doing something else. I am mad that I wasted an hour on this.
Also, you did not "reveal[] some pretty cool things and pull[] the curtain back a bit." Yes, you previewed that you would be releasing new 7* champs in deals. Yes, you suggested (but did not promise nor describe with any meaningful accuracy) the upcoming Valiant EQ or side quest changes. At best, you told viewers that they would have a chance to buy more things in the future for content that is being contemplated but not designed (PS on this front, the idea of tying Valiant EQ to prestige is one of the worst ideas I've heard). You need to better temper what the players become excited about. We want to know how you're going to fix bugs so that the game isn't a frustrating experience every day. We want to know what new content we can enjoy. We want a better gameplay experience than what we currently have.
It's totally fine that these problems can't be solved overnight or in a single livestream. But please, don't patronize us by serving us a bad product, and then insist to us that we're wrong and it's actually outstanding.

If you even paid attention to the last livestream they did say they were going to be bringing back the promo codes but it was only going to be available for a limited amount of ppl and would be like it was for decembers they also said at the beginning of the stream today it will be limited i understand ppl are upset with the state of the game but to lie and act like they didnt warn us ahead of time is just wrong

Something being "limited" isn't the same as being "2 people." And even if they said it at the beginning of the stream today (which was the first time this idea was presented, you're wrong that they discussed it earlier, even December's wasn't anything like this because that was unlimited), they didn't say it on the marketing materials, so that means they baited and switched us. That's even worse than just being vague. Don't pretend they were upfront, if they were, the forums wouldn't be flooded with rageposts about this.

Its very easy to solve... No more free stuff from now on. 👍

Didn't watch and got the promocode just now in line chat. Keep the bugs coming.
