Well that makes perfect sense. Thanks. Weird that the skill teammate is such a liability with that global! You purify so much with the node that you can’t stack it at all other than sit there and parry 5 times and even then it’s gone in one combo.
-
Note: I am talking about this week’s event quest, the one with the science global that purifies poisons.

Thanks. I guess the initial approach is no a charge, so what happened in that video is she stopped and did a light attack first instead of medium. I get it now. Thanks.

https://share.icloud.com/photos/0ajFt9UNzpw8dX3AUKv5LSNnw There is a link to a video of the issue. This is in arena. You can clearly see the word “parry.” Again: mysterio is supposed to be immune to AAR, so why is this happening?
-
Edit: and yes, I know how to parry. The “parry” text came up on my side of the screen with a perfectly timed block and yet Domino was not stunned. I know that’s what normally happens for Domino, but I thought mysterio should be different because of his AAR immunity. Should be very easy to reproduce this — just parry her…

Variant is meant to be played with a 5* r5 roster.

Small suggestion for a taskmaster synergy for future champ: “Taskmaster: when he avoids incoming attacks, taskmaster is protected for an additional 0.3 seconds.” Not sure if 0.3 is the exact right number, but the idea here is to make his heavy attack reset mechanic more useful. The current one second duration is a tick too…

Magneto did get a recent buff. He’s called Korg 😂

Hello, I am an officer in the alliance being accused, erroneously, of collusion. We have never done that. Yes, we have had lucky match ups, but only in the sense that some of our opponents have not been willing to spend what it takes to clear our defense — it’s not as if they didn’t try, though, or that there was any plot.…

Except gulk, who should be getting constant critical failure/ face me from failures to proc his 5% smash, because [Removed by Moderation] gulk users, amirite?

I have 6* nebula, and pretty happy with her. Her immunities make her a great option for bleed / poison nodes, which become more common in higher level content. The bottom line is that she still has a role as an offensive option in the end game, at the highest level of this game, and the others don’t. GG is a decent…

Luke cage for sure, unless you can get the cats to r5 blade or GR.
-
Add gladiator hulk to the list. Sa1 has 10 second healblock. 10seconds is enough to get another sa1 off.
-
I would dispute that dormammu is still a great defender. He used to be tops, but is now hard countered by blade and especially gladiator hulk. I have a rank 5 5* ghulk and I love seeing dorm placed as any Boss in AW, because I know I can solo that Boss (even if it’s final Boss) no problem. You place dorm as a boss against…

He is not generally considered great, but there is a way to use him that is extremely effective if the enemy can be stunned, especially in AQ where there is no limber. First, play cautious and use SA1 until you get battery to 100. The you get a buff called overdrive. That is a fury plus enervate effect (reduces enemy power…

He only gains souls when he kills someone, not during the fight and when he dies they are gone.

Pretty sure I saw it trigger with mordo soul barb too. Interesting if it works on starburst.

So this isn’t a bug with FACE ME, it’s just inconsistency in how Kabam categorizes debuffs for all sorts of purposes. Still doesn’t make internally consistent sense. It is totally arbitrary. So if they had put a white border around dormammu degen, that by itself would make it not be passive? That’s stupid.
-
Thanks, that is helpful. But it still doesn’t answer the question of WHY some dots are considered “passive” and some are not. Words have meaning! Passive isn’t a word that means “something that has a black timer and doesn’t trigger willpower.” Passive means “not active.” So dots that get put on you passively. I.e.without…
-
Explain how “you can clearly see if it’s an active or passive.” To me, passive means that it gets placed passively, but maybe that just makes too much sense.
-
That isn’t an explanation. All the examples I listed are passive too. Certainly more passive than Magik, for example, who needs “action” (attacking or being attacked) to trigger limbo. Void, iceman and MS give passive dots. Therefore either FACE ME is bugged or the tooltip is lying.
