This is a really cool read, you explained it really well. Adam is the goat

lol I mean my words are there black and white. “Maybe it happens” “If it did happen, you'd have to have them balanced around that“ - and Patriot *is* balanced around it. I thought it was unlikely, but I think it’s really cool we do have one. It’s a neat interaction and I’m excited for patriot.

Because of the way sig 99 (so 3 star or 4 star champs) signature abilities scale/rounding error, there’s a very slight issue that Valk needs 2 buffs even at sig 99 to counter unstoppable
-
Longshot is pretty good, makes me very happy I rank 3d him from the Omega event And not just against his target matches. This was equal rank Domino And ascended Fanta

I understand your point, but I’m saying that changing them from debuffs to passives would likely be taken by the majority of the playerbase as a nerf. Most players don’t play BGs seriously, and of those, many don’t come up against inequity. So you’d need to explain to the majority of the playerbase why you nerfed their…
-
Two reasons I don’t think this is an elegant fix. 1) you try explaining to the people who don’t care about BGs why their sinister can’t heal and be sustainable anymore in questing and war over an optional, high cost mastery. Try to persuade them that it’s not a nerf - we’ve seen the community up in arms over less. This is…
-
We will see how the balance pass goes, but it's a trade off over the whole game, not just in BGs. The downside in BGs is a massive upside in questing, and much less of a downside in war where time matters less
-
Champions who do large parts of their damage as base attack already essentially do. Cassie Lang, Galan, Omega Red etc. Unless you mean you want a champ that benefits from debuffs on themselves but don't get affected by inequity, in which case 1) seems unlikely, but we do have champs with very little downside to recoil so…
-
Yeah like CaptainRogers is saying, that's exactly my point. The pro is healing with willpower, the con is inequity. Can't have it both ways
-
You get the benefits of having debuffs on yourself to heal with willpower the whole fight, you gotta take the negatives of inequity. It’s a trade off, it’s not balanced to have your cake and eat it
-
How is it possible? One player brings apoc/cable or one player brings Odin? Ideally both if you can, but hazard shift can be taken by champs who only counter one of the debuffs pretty simply. That’s fairly low level organisation imo, kind of an exaggeration to call it a crazy amount of work. I look at a defender and think…
-
If you could explain how what I said was a “git gud” mindset I’d appreciate it. I’m pointing out that although Beewee is right that generally players don’t take 8 fights a war, in alliance war we only have 3 champions. There are 50 fights for a BG to take, so an average of 5 per player, with 3 champ slots means you need to…

You have 4 champs for 7 fights, which is 1.75 per champ. In war with 3 champs that would be 5.25 fights, when the average is 5 per player. I'd say that's pretty close. 7 fights because the champ choice means you get 1 free unused one for the boss.

So as for the feeling of the message that you think there's too much, and too much of it is aimed too high for a "commoner player" (self described). I think that Kabam are aiming a lot of recent content high in order to offer high rewards to high players, like the deathless champions, like the Masacre + Spideys selector,…

I'm nervous on how the blacklist affects it as well, so don't take this as me saying you have no cause for concern. But just so you know, if it does end up being something you need to plan for, any mutant can take shock/bleed. With horseman, or odin, or ideally both. Depending on your organisation in an alliance, that…

Then you're twisting what i said, I think we both know that when i said "to spam through their path" i quite clearly didn't mean nobody ever used 40%s once attack bonuses were gone. Unless you or OP is implying we should have free revives for the content, then I'm not sure what the point of contention is here.
-
Sasquatch sig doesn't really affect the fight. It's % chance to proc a regen, and seeing as he already starts with 20% chance for a 20 second regen, the functionality of the fight is pretty much the same. Below 40% he procs long regens, the regens don't get stronger, but because they're long regens the only difference is…

This is supposed to be an insight into T1 war, nobody trying in T1 is using the 40% revives to spam through their path
-
@jdschw do you have despair enabled? That would really help in that Longshot fight. If not, take a look here on Mike's stream for the strategy on how to deal with the regen buff using heavies to stagger it https://www.youtube.com/live/uhnZOo6cRVs?si=5Ud5tm6yIHRsCTIX&t=2733

This was designed to be a showcase for what it's like to be in those alliances and do those fights. In my previous post, i did go over some of the differences and changes i would have made. So please read that as it addresses most of what you raised here. As for the difficulty, yeah, its supposed to be difficult. It has a…

I've already given part of this as feedback in the CCP, so we're partially on the same page there. I don't think the champs that aren't 7*s should have been 7*s (Zemo, Longshot etc), and i think the 7*s should have been medium sig, maybe like 40-60. Having said that, the sigs don't affect many of the fights in a serious…

These fights have been tested out for pretty much 24 wars straight, by hundreds of players. Each of these fights (besides Red Skull, since he's been buffed since) is based off extremely common placements that we in T1 war saw every war. The reason they're tough is because they are supposed to be, the greatest defence…

I took this basically every war over the 2 decay seasons. Top options are Titania, Cassie, Spider Gwen, Spider man classic (both of those with sp2099 relic), Hulk with surfer synergy, silk or quicksilver. These options all remove the unstoppable being a threat. Other decay options do work, but it's harder to deal with when…

@"Kabam Miike" rn

Mantis is the number one option for the fight, i've taken it plenty of times (probably like 11/12 wars one season). If you skill power back it's easier, but not necessary. Mike just did it on his stream with her
-
i completely agree with you there, when we had this conversation with devs in CCP this is something i brought up because it does hit them harder. I guess there are two counter points, but I do still agree that this is the part of where they are hit slightly too hard with champs who turn off willpower. 1) mastery system…
-
To add to this, in BGs I've also found Kushala (bleed immune and regens block damage), CGR (bleed immune, high block prof and nukes fast enough to not deal with many specials), Domino (parry a ton to build power with her ability on taking 0 damage, no bleed because well timed block, combo into sp2), Kate Bishop (more of a…

I''m interested about this, and just wondered if you could expand a bit - i don't mean any of this in a mean spirited "gotcha" way, and I don't think you're necessarily wrong for not liking masteries turned off as it's your opinion. I think it's just an interesting conversation. So you say that it's one thing if it's in…
