Guardian vs Purple Doombot

Normally a Guardian s2 with 4+ force field charges will waste most bad guys on map 5. But for some reason the purple doombot can tank several of these and take very little damage. I just did an s2 with 8 and then 6 force field charges in the same fight and it did maybe 30k in damage.
I didn’t see anything in either champs description to explain why this happens but maybe I missed it. Do purple doombots have some insanely high energy resistance that’s just not listed?
Anyone able to help me out here? I can do the fight no problem with other champs, just surprised at how useless a champ like guardian is against them.
I timed out in a fight the other day using a 5/65 200 sig guardian against a doombot with 60k health.
