It was always a rule as far as I know.
-
I understand why people wouldn't like it, but as Puff said, it feeds my inner gambling addict. I really enjoy the occasional RNG-based event/rewards.
-
Congrats! Not sure why people are pressed, but you definitely made the right choice!

Yeah, try to force L1

I would say that all Degens are effects since they affect the player/opponent in some way.
-
Selectors should not be given out as rewards for monthly content at this point.
-
Firstly, not my words, so if you have a problem with the statement, take it up with the team instead. Secondly, Degen is indeed an effect in the same way Regen is an effect.
-
According to Zibiit, they're not. Source: "Hey there, I found the answer to your question. This Degeneration from the node is not counted as a passive or active effect, and so wouldn't be altered by any abilities that interact with those types of effects. It can encourage some more aggressive play in a fight but, it can…
-
It's because Void doesn't inflict Passive DOT effects. He inflicts direct damage as a result of his debuffs, but they are not considered Passive DOT. To address your second point, it was stated in the past by the team that some Degeneration effects from nodes don't count as passive nor active effects and therefore cannot…

It's because he's a double-immune and has great power control.

Tigra, SS, and BWCV exist: OP:

It's less restrictive so I appreciate that. Like Hammer said, I like the variety and the increase in difficulty. This is the first iteration that I had to use a health potion because of a slip-up.
-
It could be a result of AAR from Pacify.
-
But here's the thing. Did you really put in work to fill up the piggy bank or did you just fill up the piggy bank as a result of playing the game?
-
How is it locking in-game progression?
-
It's not only potions, but I do agree that it should contain more units.
-
Well TB is for "try hards". Don't expect to be the top progression level if you can't put in work.
-
What would be considered a "meaningful amount"? For me, it would be an amount that would be enough to offset the effort of the task. I'd say all those units alone would be meaningful when compared to the minimal effort it takes to complete/explore.

The real reason, at least from my understanding, why the difficulty is so low (or why this event is done yearly) is because of the Chinese player base. As you might've known, the Chinese player base gets special offers/rewards occasionally, but they're usually just things we might consider trivial, such as a free revive…

From the GRE?
-
For an extra SQ? Why? For what reason? Yeah, I'm sure you could've snagged 5* shards as easily as you can in this event 4 years ago...
-
But you're choosing not to pay attention to the other rewards outside of the Cav shards.
-
Wdym? How is this event "wasted"?
-
But just because the main part of the event are the limited-edition crystals doesn't mean that the other rewards aren't good. In reality, it's not any different from other SQs.
-
Not people complaining about the minimal effort needed to get good rewards...
-
So then play Epic and get that Romance Legendary crystal if you don't want to get 3*s.
-
So the rewards on top of the Broken Heart Shards aren't enough? Okay.
