They cost 12,500 shards though. I’ll say I’m very pleased they decided to make them universally available, but why make them cost more? 5 star dual crystals still cost 10k. Why make 6 stars cost more? If it’s because they’re more valuable than basics, why aren’t 5 star duals more expensive? Will the cost go down over time? What’s the reasoning Kabam?

5* ones was released for 10k shards the cost didn't went down or anything, I don't why this costs more the pool is more wider now I don't see any justification for the extra cost, or any justification for most staff kabam doing this week tbh
I get and I don't get why it costs more. Yes, shrinking the pool of champs gives you a much higher shot at getting the champ that you want, but the odds of pulling a top champ verse a bottom champ don't change much at all. There's still nearly as many reasons to mourn a crystal opening as there is to celebrate. Should've stayed consistent with the 4* and 5* and not increase the cost of the crystals. It's likely also especially bad timing with how the last 24 hours have gone, so that's unfortunate.
They could change it to 10k and use that to make us think we have a win and divert the attention from battlegrounds and 8.1 delay. Downside is if they did that, people would be asking for compensation and if they didn't get it then more negative threads would come up...
They should be 10k shards though. Pool is huge now.
We need new people working at kabam. Feels like everything released lately has been the opposite of pro-player changes.
I know what you're trying to say, but from my perspective, what we're seeing is "Dual Class 6-Star Crystals are not pro-player". There is not rule here saying that you now have to stop buying the 10k Crystals and only buy the Class crystals.
They might be a bit different than other classes as they were introduced, but those Champs weren't at the top of the food chain, and we're not ready to make them available for the exact same price as 6-stars yet.

Not all 6* champions are made equal nor at the top of the food chain. Which these duel crystals are full of as well. I understand I don’t have to buy them aspect but shouldn’t the company go into these changes with the outlook that “players will want to spend” on this change? People will do it out of necessity not out of it being a good deal.
We have over 220 champions in the game. There should be a reasonable way to target specific champs, 6 star dual crystals are a solution to that problem. But adding 1/4 the price of a 6 star in order to do that is unreasonable, it should just be a given that it costs the same as a normal crystal.

I’m honestly struggling to understand the reasoning here. We aren’t at all saying that 6 star dual crystals are not pro player. We think releasing these is very pro player. But we’re struggling to see the reasoning for making them more expensive. We know we don’t have to stop buying basics, but what makes a 6 star dual more valuable than a basic, and why is that reason not present in the 5 star rarity?

Dual class 6* availability is absolutely a pro-player move. Not sure where you're reading into anything in this post that says otherwise (could be wrong). The community has desired dual class 6* crystals for a long time. What we have here are two problems that are being missed: first, the community is running off the emotions of the last 24-hours with the battlegrounds launch flipping tremendously and the 8.1 miscommunication and delay causing significant consumables issues for a considerable amount of players. Second, there has been a pattern of finding the one way to mess something up that should be simple and once again you guys hit the wrong nail on the head. There is little added value in these crystals to truly justify a 25% cost increase. Perhaps if crystals were updated and added more gold and iso like they should've a long time ago it would be better. But this is just another in a long string of moments where something the community has desired finally gets released and the one thing that could possibly hurt it is exactly what happened.

If that’s what miike was trying to say I missed that as well. I’m happy for duel crystals but it’s not pro-player to release them at an increased cost. Hopefully that clears up the previous comments I made.
On the bright side, it's cheaper than the risk you take when they're being sold for 3500 units. I'd gladly refund the money I spent on the pass to end up with this-
But still, I think 10k for a 6* dual class is where it should be.
As per the title, the price increase doesn't make sense, you still get the same amount of 6*'s from the crystal (1), and since there's so many champs in the game now it doesn't give players a huge boost, if it were crystals with singular class instead of dual class then it'd be understandable but unfortunately it isn't, please fix this, Kãbåm is facing alot of backlash and the community is just getting angrier

I would ask that you ask yourselves that question... What makes the Dual Class more valuable than a Basic, and why SHOULDN'T it be more?
I get the precedent set by the 5-Star and 4-Star crystals, but it was exactly that precedent that kept us from launching these earlier. We know players wanted them; we weren't ready to make more specific 6-Stars available for that same cost, but also knew that when we added them for 5-Stars, we set that precedent. It was either break the precedent or keep waiting.
For complete transparency, we learned pretty quickly after the release of the 5-Star Dual that we shouldn't have made them the same price, but didn't want to change them after the fact. We did the same for 4-Stars, but are less concerned with those. We decided the best case was to leave them as is but didn't want to repeat that again.

So does that mean we can see 5* duals cut in half? I mean they aren't the top of the food chain anymore. In fact take away the 10k cost for 5*s. Make them 2k now since they are prey and not predator anymore.
I can get behind the 6* costing more if you reduce the basic/feature/dual 5*s by half.

The thing is we don't want your perspective. The perspective that matters is the players. The players don't like this, that's what should matter
Maybe if you guys thought more about the players perspective than your own, them battlegrounds wouldn't be a steaming pile of garbage
Don’t be so bitter…not a good way to live life. BG’s is far from perfect but it is even further from being a steaming pile of garbage. And 2.5k extra shards for these crystals is fair…6*’s are still atop the food chain
If you don’t think we want Miike’s perspective, you’d hate to hear what we think of your perspective…

We were supposed to wish crystals by now, to reduce RNG. This could have been marketed as a stop gap for players. Instead feels like another way to try and fleece players. The odds of getting a specific champion increases with dual crystals, but the odds of getting a rubbish one stays the same, you’re just limiting it a rubbish champion from 2 classes instead of all of them.

Was going to go after the featured pool for quicksilver or IIM but 6 star dual crystals are definitely enticing...
