New dexterity triggers buffet twice

In the new monthly quest I’ve notice the buffet activates when you dash back triggering dexterity, then it gets removed as I would expect. But if you already have the dexterity crit buff (during buffet downtime) then hit someone after that downtime ends, I don’t feel its intended that it triggers buffet I could be wrong but just felt that it was off.
Could be unavoidable like how jugg and uc were programmed to have two unstoppable buffs which can hurt you when you think blade stopped it from activating just to find out the second one activates.
