Corvus Glaive's Damage

I've noticed his damage is drastically different depending on the champ he is fighting. Can this be attributed to armor rating for different champs? The nodes I'm fighting are in the EQ, and they're not buffed in different ways (I'm on the same path etc.).

Wow now I feel pretty stupid. I'm guessing this is due to a change in persistent charge.

He builds charges when he defeats a Tech champ, a Mutant champ, an Avenger, and an auto-evade or auto-block champ (with some stipulations on that last one in that you must knock down the champ after it auto evades or auto blocks, but you cannot KO the champ with a special or heavy attack). Also after KOing a Tech or Mutant champ you get some additional advantages when fighting tech and mutant champs.

An amazing champ on offense when you have the chance to build up those charges.
