Combo disruption

Has anyone else had issue getting blasted by a special while in mid-combo? At least 4 times in the last several weeks I’ve been in a AQ or AW fight and have been hit by an opponent special while I’m in the middle of a 5-hit combo. Happened agains hulk rag and dorm and GG that I’m aware of if I remember correctly. Don’t recall the 4th. IOS 11.4 i think
