    Max a 4* first, then work you way to 5*s.

    I go rank 3 on 5 stars now. My personal opinion, but I maxed out and max sigged 8 4 stars and all the rest of my effort is 5 star.

    I mean, 5* champs are always better because they can be taken to a greater level. However, 4* champs are cheaper when it comes to materials. Depending on how many materials you have to rank up, a 4* might be better. If you have plenty to spend, then go 5*.

    I also want to point out that 4* champs are easier to dupe, so champs like SL and others that require their sig ability to be good would be better as 4* champs.

    Great 4* champs are always going to be better than junk 5*

    I'm not taking any 5* past R2 unless they are fantastic and worthy of T2 alphas later.

    Investing in a reasonable 4* roster with a few R3 will help a bunch in the basic arena which is where you will really build your roster unless you are swimming in shards.

    5* are no good in the 4* basic arena and most don't have enough to be competitive in the featured let alone the featured 5*

    5* make plenty of points in the T4B arena.

    I am also thinking about this. I have four 4☆ rank 5 but no Mystic and no Science. 9 5☆ but champs which I will not rank 5 if those were 4☆.

    So the dilemna continues.

    I won't R5 any more 4*, I have 5 and don't war so I'm not forced to rank just to keep someone else happy, I won't be competitive in featured arenas so I don't need them for that either.

    I get through master every month and I'm in 5.1

    Another R5 isn't going to magically improve my roster.

    I have stockpiled a bunch of cats for that awesome 5* pull but I'm happy to wait, I've even been selling off class iso from 4* dupes just to build back up.

    Im trying to figure out what to do here as well.
    I took down the collector 2 months ago and now I'm looking to build up my roster to complete act 5. I can almost rank up a skill and a mystic. Can't decide between 5* r3 or 4* r5.
    5* hood to r3 or 4* Morningstar to r5 (duped 60+)
    5* Crossbones r3, 4* Crossbones duped r5, 4* gwenpool duped r5 or 4* DD classic duped.

    What will help with act 5.3 and 5.4
    I have a max 4* SW and 4* blade too

    Ideas please? :)

    Depends on where you are in the game, if you're not uncollected i say work to max your 4 star, it also depend on who those 4star champs you're ranking up, if you're talking about a duped star lord or scarlet witch then those are worth ranking up as 4 star but if you're talking about groot or iron patriot then leave them alone, do keep in mind that a r3 5* has more attack and health than a max out 4 star
