Forceful meta shifts and old god contradictions

If you want to shift the Metagame of any competitive game here’s some advice:
Use a gentle hand, and put down the power stone, Thanos!
While wanting to manually shift the metagame is understandable (a lot of outcry for Blade being able to slaughter the over-prevalent mystics and villains, and mystics specifically being overpowered on defense) changing those primarily elements is a good start. However, this “around the bush and across the board” scheme of changes is not appropriate for stimulating customer appeal. While bleed Immune global nodes will slow down Blade… that also effects Killmonger, Medusa, Gwenpool, Venom, Drax (if anyone still uses him), and so many more bleed based champions. That only creates a bottleneck if viable war attackers while also creating a bevy of more optimizable defensive nodes. The Juggernaut buff alone was just ugly but the amount of tweaking required to balance this monstrosity will scar the competitive scene and even solo game for quite a while.
