Symbiote difficulty tricky fights

I’m running low on strands after messing up in the void quest, so I’m gonna get you guy’s takes on the trickier fights. I k Infinity War how to deal with SS, but

1. Abomination looks to be a pain, is there any reason not to just use TC CD and recoup? Any further buffs?

2. Also, I heard recoup doesn’t work against Omega Red. If that’s the case, what should I do? It won’t be a quick fight because he has 90% bleed damage reduction.

3. Do Black Widow and Domino penetrate Hardened Coating? I doubt recoup works for critical failure.

4. Does Red Hulk with his second strike ability get through Hardened Coating?

I’m down to around 150 strands, but I can get more thru epic exploration. Of course prefer not to spend or grind thru that to get through symbiote.

You can get by without Cut Deep and Hardened Coating. Add these for the specific fights.

1. Abom - Recoup + Unknown Enemy. Optional; Undying
2. Omega Red - Same as Abom, be super aggressive, TC will most likely cut him down faster than you will die from degen.
3. Haven't tested, although, if you use Dominos medium to your advantage an intercept her with a light or a really well timed medium you will never need to block, TC will do the work for you, her degen is also not scaled by her attack and it gets weaker as the fight goes.
4. If it does no damage on your block it should do no damage through Second Strike, haven't tested but that is my logic.

You can be frugal, but if you have energy refills as well you may be able to get more value out of each boost.

I fought Omega Reed and truth be told he's not hard
I used only the total Carnage boost since he reduces bleed potency by 90%
All you have to do is just land a few hits in and go back
Keep your distance and bait his special 1
Personally I didn't use cut deep for Omega else his death field would last way to long as it stays active until the bleed expires which means you'll take damage much more often
Just attack and keep your distance when crit bleed is active. Only go in once in a while to prevent yourself from getting backed against the wall


For abomination, tenacity is a must
Plus you'll want to end the fight as quickly as possible so cut deep and total Carnage would be very useful luckily you'll obviously have recoup active if you fought Iceman

Second strike deals 18% (at one charge)of red hulks attack as bonus damage
But if red hulk deals 0 damage,18% of 0 is 0 so you should be safe
I'm not sure tho hehe
