mastery costs

i need to adjust my masteries however dont want to waste money making a wrong turn, can anyone tell me if recovery of masteries is now free and will i then need to pay for each mastery i choose or do i just pay for the ones i have not previously unlocked? I couldn't find this info online...

    Recovery is free, putting in the points back in the spot that you have already unlocked costs.

    Recovery is free and the masteries you already unlocked are still unlocked.

    Only cost is a few gold an 1 to 5 units to LEVEL UP the unlocked masteries once you reset your tree. Nothing too expensive, just a small fee to avoid people resetting their masteries every fight to fit certain enemies
