Cat class quest ending mid-quest

Tell me why I was almost finished getting T2cc, and the quest ended when I had 2 moves left to finish for the Cat?!? This has never been the case b4. Was just forced to update. Is this how it’s going to b in the future?? Can’t finish a quest?? In the past, I’ve been able to start this quest and finish it 10-15hrs after it was xpired (because I was in mid-quest)!!! Is this part of the update that was not communicated (yet again, like so many others)???? Really miffed about this as I was getting cats in advance of champs coming in Arena! If a mod could clarify this, would b appreciated. Otherwise I just jacked out of a Cat, for NO reason. Please respond. Thx!!
