It's been ~year since masteries have been updated. (WP 'balancing'). To amplify the issue: Since 12.0 most masteries are worthless (ahem pure skill) or super niche and not worth investing (fury masteries or anything with armor). Class masteries are all but broken (Md being the exception). Putting more than 10 points in defense or utility are basically wasted. New or updated masteries would help revitalize the player base and increase units spent to buy cores. I know this will probably go unheard or answered but even a "it's in the works" would renew some interest in the game.
