Increasing star rating

Can you turn a 3 star hero into a 4 star hero through ranking up or do they max out so you can't upgrade them anymore

I doubt it, as it has been the foundation on how this game has run for over 2 years.....

The problem with that is it would defeat the whole purpose of the system of acquiring different Star Levels.

I know it is hard starting out as a newer player. But it takes time to build your roster. Too many new players see what champs the veteran players have and start saying that it is unfair, and that they should have a great roster too. The thing is...it is fair...I have spent over 2 years building my roster up by putting quite a bit of time into this game...a good roster is the reward for that effort. It would be unfair for someone that has only been playing for a few months to get the same result while putting in 5% of that effort.
