Anyone noticed how everyone’s profile is displaying their alliance as gold 2?

I noticed my friend, who’s in a silver 2 alliance had his profile saying he was in a gold 2 alliance. I started checking random people in global and they all had the same problem. Attached is an example. I play on an IPad 5 running iOS 12

    This happens at the start of the season pretty much. Not really a major bug compared to other ones. But yeah this does happen
