Would a 3* maxed AA help me in Master?

I tried fighting Aegon with Mephisto but no bueno.
My team is
2/35 sparky
2/35 duped SL
4/40 Hype
2/35 Sabertooth
4/40 duped Blade

I also have bothe 3* maxed only...any other champs that can take down the Master version this is frustrating!!

I'm in the same you are @Sceptilemaniac and had to use 3 star maxed AA and 3 star maxed and duped Doctor Voodoo to bring him down in 2 fights, no boosts or anything
