War Slim Margins

I’m in a gold 1 alliance used to be plat 3 but the meta changed a lot since seasons began. War is being determined by 1 or 2 deaths was this the goal? It’s time to double the war match rewards for winners and losers I am a member of a very good alliance and we are soloing bosses and minis with some deaths in between I just don’t get the competition anymore. Basically no different then aq at this point. Diversity isn’t a real advantage anymore, just don’t die and u might win. At this point getting more 5 star shards isn’t going to hurt the game it shouldn’t take weeks to get a basic anymore nor should u be paying to max a 5 star. Just makes the game stale.

I'm sorry but I don't see the link between war being won by the alliance that played better and the war match rewards.

Guess what? Opponents are also members of a very good alliance and are soloing bosses and minis with LESSER deaths in-between.
Diversity is still an advantage whether you like it or not. Each Defender Kill equates to roughly 3 points in Diversity. It's important to strike a balance between the 2.
Getting a basic shouldn't take weeks? Would you prefer them in hours then? More importantly, does it make a difference? How do you feel opening 3*s and 4*s by the bunch now? Do you know that they were once very rare?
Adding more 5* and 6* shards now just accelerates the roster progression. There's just no end to it.
