King Groot vs Coldsnap

I know some people don't like King Groot, but I just got him as a 6 star version, and he is the first champ I have to date that has a reliable ability to shrug off debuffs. That being said, info for the developers:

- 6 Star King Groot (Un-duped)
- Does not shrug off Cold Snap at the beginning of the fight.
- For testing purposes, I allowed him to get cold snap again in the fight and he did not shrug that off either. (obviously I did this while he had furies active)
- I tried against every level Iceman I could find, in every area of the game (except arena due to it being too hard to intentionally find an Iceman) , the results are the same.
- I even fought un-duped versions of Iceman and allowed King Groot to get a Cold Snap, and the same result.
- I have a Samsung Galaxy Note 8

I tried to be as thorough as possible so I do not waste your time. Hope this points you Kabam folks in the right direction, I was really looking forward to using my new champ. Let me know there is other information you need to fix this, I would love to help.

Don't know about the one triggered after getting hit by the special 1. I think that still works on my end to be honest.
But the coldsnap applied at the start of the fight shouldn't be shrugged off. It is applied at the same time he gets the fury buffs, not after.

That sounds reasonable for the first charge, but could go either way, and I wouldn't mind the old "Working as Intended" from Kabam. Also, I don't have any other champs like duped Crossbones, or Agent Venom to test against their ability to shrug off the first cold-snap. In my mind, if they are applied at the same time, he should shrug it off. Also, i have not tried other debuffs to see what happens if King Groot shrugs off thing when he first gains the furies.

That being said, it still does not explain why he can't shrug it off later. And I double checked, Cold snap only effects evade, not any other ability accuracy reduction.

I just checked. If he gets any debuff, and then gets a fury stack, he does not shrug it off. Therefore it makes sense that IF the cold snap is applied BEFORE the furies, he would not shrug it off at the beginning of the fight. Still doesn't make sense about the other cold snaps though...

Alliance member found a really old post about this. It is "working as intended" since the TIE goes to cold snap. However, it does not explain the other cold-snaps not working.

I faced a king groot in AW today, after reading this post. He did shrugged off the coldsnap on Iceman's sp1

Right, that is one of the reasons I posted in the "Bugs" section. For whatever reason, my is not working.
