The Champion is currently bugged in war defence

Hello!
A helpful war opponent showed us a fight vs our placed 'The Champion' today...

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5zeq1qUVsSQ

The Champion's regen is not supposed to be effected by Void's petrify debuff, but in the video we clearly see that it is...(toward the end of the video The Champion's regen proccs but there are no green numbers at all - his regen is killing him)

The Champion only gets the ability you're referring to when he's on the boss node.

Don't think so? Read the spotlight again:

"While attacking or defending the final node in a Quest
    +666 Armor and Block Penetration."

"Special 1: Judo Chop –....When The Champion has 4 or more Persistent Charges, he spends one to activate a Regeneration Buff, regenerating 693 Health over 3 seconds."

    "Signature Ability: Primal Fury
    - When at least one of his Fury Buffs is active....
    - While attacking or defending on the final node in a Quest, for each active Fury Buff and while his Unstoppable Buff is active, he regenerates 1.7% of the damage taken this fight per second, excluding the amount already regenerated by this ability. This ability can regenerate up to a maximum of 5% Health per second.
    - In addition to regenerating Health, The Champion is immune to Fate Seal, Heal Block, Petrify, and any effects that modify Regeneration other than Poison."

It's only his % hp lost regen during primal fury that is relevant to the final node in this case. From the video we can see all regen (buffet and his l1) is being effected by petrify.

If it is the case as you say, I think it isn't clear from the spotlight at all.

This portion is only relevant during when he's on the final boss. This was asked about specifically and a mod clarified it. I'll try to find it in a bit.

Does his immunity to effects that modify regeneration only work when he's on the final node of a quest?

Correct, he would need to be on the final node in a given quest for him to gain these benefits.

Well I'd say my alliance mate probably has grounds for an rdt - think he was only ranked for this purpose.
The spotlight doesn't read like that at all - shouldn't be expected to read through the forum but thanks for that though!

It says "In addition". The confusion here is probably because that part of the text is on a different paragraph.

Yes, that and the fact that he regenerates on his l1 too

i wasnt confused at all by the wording now was any member of our family of alliances over 150 people. was worded pretty well compared to abilities from say for example the original domino ability (its since been corrected). they made several wording changes in dominoes abilities and how they were worded in the first few weeks of her bwing out and at least 2 changes within the first weekend

Why would he get an RDT when he didn't read and understand his abilities first? Maybe your alliance mate needs to learn champions before ranking them.
