Better Champs in Dungeon Crystals

I know it’s all luck in getting a decent champ from a crystal, but it’s so hard to convince any of my alliance members to do dungeons with me when the pulls are so terrible. The first 5* I got was Cyclops. Today (after another acquisition of 27k artifacts) I get KK. Would it be so hard to have a better pool of champs or at least a re-roll with a different crystal? All that work for disappointment.
I do appreciate the milestone rewards and friendship bonuses, but I got them all in the first run. Wish there were more 5* shards to acquire.
