5* Champs, what's better 2x R4 or 1x R5?

Only have a limited amount of T2a, but do have enough to take 2 more champs to R4...or one to R5.
I'm in a semi-retired ally, so getting T2a is a very slow process via the monthly quests.
My current R4 champs are Voodoo, Blade, Magik and Hela (last 2 are unduped).
I'm currently trying to explore Act 5.4, and only have the bleed/poison paths left which means I'm relying on 4* champs for now.
All of that being said, should I take one champ to R5, or is it better to "diversify" my lineup with a couple more R4?
