Why are there generic catalysts in class cat free for all?

I have been trying to upgrade some of my 4 star champs and have been getting little to no success in the class specific quests so figure i would hit the free for all class one today and this is what i get. Why?????? Why put generics in the class pool of rewards?

Wouldn’t be a problem if we could sell T4CC to get T3CC and so on.

Sadly it’s called Class free for all not free for all, so seeing as its called class it shouldn’t have anything but class, they should rename it

They already have a basic catalyst Quest that runs non-stop 24/7 why they would put generic ones in a class free for all makes absolutely no sense

Yeah that's why I don't even do these ones. I seem to always get basics. And for more energy.. lame
