Lol why do you have a max falcon?

I've had that champion for 2 years. He was my first duped 4 star. Why do you care? I resent your tone, btw. Not very constructive, or nice. And... I don't see any rank down tickets lying around.

Rank whoever you want, my friend.

Haha, That I did back when I pulled him from a featured when he was released, and then duped him in the next pull...! Little did I know then he would be pretty much useless now when I got back to the game after being away from it a long while. (Besides the lock on thingy...) Back then I was fooled by his high PI. That, and he has a decent synergy with cap WWII and Vision. Now I mostly use him in Arenas. But I don't really have many maxed out champs yet, so my choices are limited.

Making the best use of Falcon.
Falcons main use in the game, like in the movies, is to buff up his allies. He has decent synergies, and gives everyone extra Physical Resistance penetration - up to 40% with four synergies.

So you can build a team around him; if you like the Avengers.

On the other hand, as a champion, his base stats are actually decent; and he has a reliable if not inspiring bleed. You can also use him to shut down ability accuracy more reliably than any other champion*; he just can't keep it up for the entire fight. But if you really need someone to get around a predictable evasion, arc overload, Physical Resistance or an Invulnerability buff (hello, Hela!), he's your guy.

For fighting champions who have a strong finishing ability like Punisher, Hela, Hulk, War Machine, he's got value.

His bleed is actually decent damage per tick, but doesn't last long (so overall damage isn't high at standard). However, as a short intense bleed, it will benefit from Deep Wounds more than Electra's slower bleed effect.

*There are other champions who might be better at some things - but Electra only reduces ability accuracy whilst you're bleeding or broken; Crossbones needs to keep his Furies up; Kingpin only gets -45%, Magneto only works if you're metal, Blade only according to his synergies. Black Widow is more reliable, but tops out at 70%. All champions who reduce ability accuracy have limitations to stop them getting overpowered. That's why BW was nerfed back in 12.0. Falcons lock-on is at least under your control, even if it can't last the whole fight. Fight intelligently, and just use it when you need to. Twelve seconds should be enough to turn the fight in your favour!

So, whilst I'm not going to suggest you wouldn't be better off with Blade, if you do pull Falcon as a five star champion try to recognise that you could have done much worse; even if he's primarily just a member of the team.
Let's start by saying that Falcon isn't terrific and could use a rework. Three seconds to lock on to a target can feel like an eternity in some fights.

But there is something he is useful for that I'm surprised no one else brought up yet. Surprisingly, he is a very effective Magik counter. Once locked on, she is unable to trigger limbo via her signature ability.

In the early days of playing my second account, he was one of my earliest 4* dupes. I ended up bringing him to war (along with Guilly and Cap WWII) for lack of better options and even at 4/40, he was able to take out 4/55 Magik without much issue (depending on the nodes, of course).

This ability is also super helpful if your roster isn't very big and you are working toward an infinite streak. Sometimes they'll throw a Magik in the "hard rounds", which can be difficult for most 3/30 and 4/40 champs if you're not prepared, but Falcon was cruising through those fights with a lot of health remaining.

As others have said, he's great for evasion champs as well. He's got class advantage against Spidey and can completely shut down evade. He can also shut down Nightcrawler's or Stark Spidey's evade. And when he's locked on, Falcon can hit Stark Spidey with specials without having the knock out the AI first.

So again, not a great champ. But if you've got a small roster, he does have some very specific uses that can help you clear some content that you wouldn't otherwise be able to clear.

That is really helpful! Thanks. I have not been using him to his full potential. But he has been a great help until I now started getting better options. The lock on is actually quite helpful when I have the courage to hold for 3 seconds.
I also hate ranking down champs, so I believe I'll keep him maxed out, at least it's useful to have as many maxed out 4 stars as I can for achieving infinite streak later on.
