Update still isn't helping. Best method I have found is to put awakened Hela and Angela on your team and use your team first. Once everyone else dies, just use Hela until you can beat him. With Hela you get the indestructible which allows you to survive for a little while to do damage. Bringing along Angela gives everyone a chance to auto-revive.

I stand by my initial assessment. Setting up a node with some instances in which one cannot prevail = no fun.
