Class Advantages

I know they say that you get a class advantage one against another for all classes. I've noticed that in most cases I would rather fight as a power down or a class disadvantage then to have the quote advantage. Say cosmic over techs for example. What is the disadvantage fighting the opponent. Being that there at a disadvantage.. what advantages do u get being on the disadvantage side of the fight

Some newer champs have abilities that enhance the class relationships. For example Stark Spidey’s AI goes offline if a cosmic champ hits him with an attack, whereas any other class needs to hit him with a heavy. Sentinel also gains more analysis charges when fighting mutants and less when fighting cosmic. Bishop cannot generate prowess charges on parry when he’s facing a tech champ. Also I think the recent Venom buff made him immune to power drain from tech champs too.

It just depends on specific champs and their abilities. Other than that, a typical (did)advantage from class relationships grant a small attack bonus to the advantageous class and a small attack decrease to the disadvantaged class.

You get I believe a 30% attack increase if you have a class advantage and a 30% attack decrease. Besides the pure stat increase classes have been designed to some extent to counter other classes. The mystic class, for example, have lots of nullifying and stagger abilities which are effective in countering the cosmic class which is very buff heavy. The skill class has a lot of ability accuracy reduction which is good against the science that has many defensive abilities. Of course, it isn't universal just generally this is the way classes have been designed.

To add to what Viper said, when ST gets a hit fury on the fist class, he armor breaks them as well.
