Clarification about Bishop's unblockable sp1 in map5

In alliance quest map5 on node 25 before the 21.1 update you could avoid the first hit of Bishop's sp1 and block the rest.Now the whole part of sp1 is unblockable even if you avoid the first hit.Is this change intentional?

    Given nothing being changed on the servers. Bishop’s unblockable specials will behave differently based on the source of the unblockable. If the source is from a node then just the kick is unblockable. If the source is from his signature ability, which is based on how many prowess charges he has, then the entire special is unblockable.

    I’m guessing in the past he did not have prowess due to not taking energy damage to fuel it. Then this time you used a champion like Magik, Iceman, DS, etc which built his prowess making the entire special unblockable.
