Mastery changes are too costly.

The new maze thing has terrible rewards. It might be Ok to play but changing masteries to maximize my attack team is annoying. The system is bad in that to change a few things you have to change everything and it takes time and in addition to being tedious and outdated you charge us for that honor.
Mastery changes should be free. Makes the game more fun. Between the poor rewards (see maze, see how poorly milestones scale in AQ, see how big a gap you’re putting between 1 and 2 in AQ combing up (1 t5b versus 2 t5b), and the never changing loyalty accumulation, UC rewards, gold accumulation) you really need someone on your team who cares about the game being fun. If you have a person like that it really doesn’t show.
The nickel and dime stuff is poorly conceived here IMO. Who wakes up at HQ and thinks about making the game fun? I wanna meet them and see what their idea of fun is.
