Gifting Calendar?

The in-game mail references a special event calendar for the gifting event. Is that referring to the holiday calendar because we get greater gifting crystals? Or is it a new calendar that hasn’t appeared yet?

I think I remember in years past getting gifting tickets that would award points towards the alliance event, but maybe that was something else.

Trying to budget out my last 3000 points for the alliance event so I can get the final milestone.
