1V1 Versus Matchmaking Update

Dear Kabam,
After playing around 50 1v1 battles today, I've noticed that I can't seem to get past a 15-20 win streak due to the outdated matchmaking methods. I'll start with a 1-star champion and end up losing my streak because it tiers up so freaking fast.
I'd like to suggest that you take a look at this since 1v1 isn't like arenas that have champion PI caps. It's quite annoying that I'm unable to challenge myself or feel accomplished by beating my last streak because I go from fighting 3-star maxed to 4-star in only one fight.
Thank you in advance for any and all considerations to this, I know y'all are busy with bugs and whatnot.
